Royal Promenade - Freedom of the Seas

Good morning,

It's wonderful to be back aboard Freedom of the Seas
Today's images are of the Royal Promenade, the "main street" of the ship.
There is shopping and entertainment that make the ship a destination itself.
There are many cruisers who don't go ashore at all during the cruise, but prefer to just enjoy the ship.
For Beatrice of Frog and Penguin and others who asked about seeing people in the pictures, here you are!  There are more than 5,700 people including crew on board Freedom of the Seas, but it never feels crowded here.

I'm still roaming the ship with my camera.  Stay tuned for more pictures!

Enjoy!

Lois

Hi Lois, thanks for showing some of the folks cruising with you - WOW 5,700 is sure a lot of people. After checking out therse photos of the main street promonade, I can see why some folks would not go ashore -- way TOO much to see, do and eat!

Wow! What a ship. I know without asking that you are having a wonderful time!

I guess I'd rather be outside on the ship than in a mall. Hardly go to a mall anytime, so the allure isn't there, but it is impressive.

Put me out on deck with those desserts!

Good morning,

Freedom is certainly a city of its own. The nice thing is that there are so many different things to do. If you prefer to sit on the deck with a cool drink, that's what you can do without getting near the shopping. On the other hand, if you forgot somethingwhen you packed, you don't have to swim to shore to shop for it. ;)

I'm still wandering around with my camera so will have more images of the ship to share. There are several nice changes from the last time we were here. Vintages, the wine lounge got a complete make over. The new couches and chairs make see it more as a living room to relax with a glass of wine.

Thanks for stopping by and for all of your very kind comments.

Best,
Lois
