Just a few hours after we arrived aboard Freedom of the Seas there was a knock at the door.
The ship florist delivered a bouquet of the most perfect red roses I've seen in a very long time!
Our dear friends Martha and Russell from Texas are sailing with us for the first two weeks we will be aboard and sent us these roses. How very sweet of them! It is so much fun to be able to spend time together aboard the ship where there is so much to do together. Thank you so very much!
Very best,
Lois

Beautiful roses! What nice friends you have. :)
Your friends are awesome! Gorgeous roses :D
What a beautiful surprise.
I enjoyed your road trip southwards, especially the wildlife at the Viera Wetlands.
Sometimes those Texans can be so sweet, can't they?! :)
You're on a cruise? Oh how I wish I was, too! Be sure & relax in the sun by the pool for me... sounds absolutely grrreat!!! =)
How sweet! I'm catching up here on your trip.
Somebody thinks a lot of you! Those roses are beautiful.
Those are gorgeous! Very nice to have friends like that!
Stunning! You're off again, I see. I've been a bit remiss about blogging of late, but how much fun to play catch up!! Your pictures are all so entertaining, almost like traveling along with you! And I could smell the lilacs a few posts back as if they were here beside me in a vase on my night stand. Hope you are having a wonderful time. Look forward to learning more of your trip! ~karen
I think I can smell them from here!! They are just beautiful Lois!! Lucky you!!...debbie
Beautiful way to start your cruise, Lois!
Lois, lovely roses from wonderful friends - it doesn't get much better,
Hello everyone,
Yes, the roses are wonderful. And, yes, Texwisgirl, those Texans are pretty special, too. ;)
I'll be taking a tour of the ship with my camera and sharing images with you over the next couple of weeks. I also will have images from the ports of call. I hope you enjoy traveling with us.
Thank you so much for stopping by and for your very kind comments.
Best,
Lois
