Slow But Sure Progress

 Good morning,

It has been a very busy week with medical appointments and other things happening.  I finally got back to work on the Blue Lovers Large Afghan Blanket that I started more than a week ago.  I have more than 40 of the 80 flowers encircled with white so feel I'm making good progress now.

We had tornado warnings here yesterday.  Earlier in the day the temps were in the 50s F, now down to the 20's F.  When that warm and cold air clashes, we get really bad weather.  Catherine was just North of the city earlier and said the power was out.  We have been fortunate to keep power here, but the cable reception is pretty bad.

I hope everything is smooth and the weather is comfortable wherever you are.

All the best,

Lois

You make such beautiful afghans! Sounds like it is good to be inside and work with it, when nthe weather is bad. It has been very much changing between cold and warmer weather here. We had some days with heavy rain, but the ground is frozen so many places there were problems with flooding when the rain water had nowhere to run. Now we have got snow again, it is supposed to stay over the weekend.

Life comes in the way and we are not able to do what we love, for some time. Your afghans are beautiful, I always admire your crocheting skills. Summer-rain has finally arrived this side of the globe. Cyclone 'Chenese' was named earlier this week. It passed far north without any danger to us. It's crossing over Madagascar and from there we don't know what happens. Usually cyclones do a C, so it may turn East towards us again. Rain and thunderstorms expected the next days, which is good for the reservoirs. Tornados sound scary, stay safe!

Nothing beats the classic blue and white. So pretty.
So glad you didn’t get the tornado, fingers crossed it won’t be a bad season
Stay safe
