Volunteer Tomato Plant

 Good morning,

I was clearing growth along a fence next to our driveway and came across this!  It is a very healthy tomato plant that I certainly didn't plant here.

A closer look and I see we are on the verge of getting some tomatoes!  Of course, I let this very brave (growing next to the driveway behind the gate makes it brave!) tomato plant stay right where it was.  It will be fun to see what kind of tomatoes appear on this vine.  :)

Sometimes it is the volunteer plant that gives the greatest happiness.

We refer to it as the Squirrel Redistribution Programme. It's why pansies and spring bulbs pop up in odd places.....
