A Boy and His Dogs

Good morning,

Our grandson, Alex, likes to visit us (mostly) to visit our pups.

The pups like it, too!  They just love all the attention.  That's our baby, Wendy, in the first two images.

Alex is cuddling with Erik here. 

Erik had knee surgery a couple of months ago so needed weeks of recovery time before he could play again.  Alex is so glad Erik is back in the game.

Penny, our twelve year old, is taking a break in one of the kennels.  There's a rule here with the kids that they do not bother the dogs when they are tired and retreat to a kennel where the doors remain open.  The kennel is "their" space that is to be respected. 

 Wendy is quite the princess on the pup bed.

Alex is trying to balance a tennis ball on Erik's head.  Erik is totally relaxed and lets Alex do these silly things.

 Erik:  Mom, do I have to put up with this?  

 Tug A War time!

It's always fun to see Alex, but the pups all took naps as soon as he left.
