Spring from our Dining Room Window

 Good morning,

This is the view from our dining room. It is taken through both glass and a screen, but it is still quite lovely.

The beautiful pink flowers on the Tulip Magnolia are coming into bloom, but take a look at those clouds!  As I write this, there is a very light dusting of snow out there and the temps will drop even further over the next couple of days.

When we've had these temperature drops in previous years, we have lost the lovely pink flowers before they come into full bloom.  Hopefully, they'll still be there tomorrow.  If not, there is always next year.

Happy Spring!

Lois

Too bad about the weather. Those flowers are so pretty.

I have that same tree in my front yard. It is beautiful for almost a week in the spring, then the ground around it becomes a blanket of pink! I never knew the name of it but always called it a tulip tree because the blooms look like tulips!
