Port Canaveral Pics

Good morning,

I was on my way to lunch the other day and took an outside deck to get there.  I looked across the water in Port Canaveral at the next ship and saw a diver sitting on the bulbous bow of the ship.  I am confident he was working, not playing out there.  He was probably checking for sea growth on the hull and/or part of a team cleaning it.
Here is the picture of the Disney Wonder while I was standing in the same place, but without zooming in on the bow at the water line.  Now you can see exactly where that man is sitting.  It's just such a neat image.  :)
Looking in another direction I saw there were two US Coast Guard ships in port.

As always, tomorrow we will be in a different port.  There is always something interesting to see and photograph out here.  I hope you're enjoying it all with me.

Best,
Lois

Check out Watery Wednesday!

Those ships are just so huge. Makes one wonder why they stay afloat!

Hi Lois...
I don't know how you do it...I know that is a huge ship but I still think I would feel claustrophobic....is the a psychologist on board??...I bet there is lol. : }}
Beautiful photos of the ship and boats in port!
Safe sailing!!

Of course I am enjoying your posts. Without zooming, I don't know how you ever noticed the TINY man on the HUGE Ship. He looks like a wee insect to me.

Good morning,

That Disney ship is large, but the one on which I was standing to take the picture (Freedom of the Seas) is more than twice as large.

No, Grammie, no psychologist or psychiatrist on board here - except those who may be cruising! Back when I was teaching and practicing accounting I remember being asked about cruising so much (at every break from the action at home) and my reply was, "It's better than a shrink!"

Thank you so much, everyone, for stopping by.

Very best,
Lois
