Circus Critters - Freedom of the Seas

Good morning,

I recently watched the Freedom of the Seas Circus Parade (daughter Catherine's earlier parade images here) from a balcony above the action.

As soon as the parade was over I went down to the Royal Promenade and got some closer shots of some of the critters the circus performers had left so that we could all get pictures.
The circus performers pull these huge critters in the parade to the delight of all of us watching.
I wasn't the only one taking pictures so didn't even try to wait for people to move out of the way to get my shots.
According to the Cruise Director, there is some wonderful news about this parade and other entertainment changes that will occur after the ship goes into dry dock in March, 2011.  The ship will then have a contract with Dream Works and we will have all of the Dream Works characters in the parade as well as featured at other times around the ship.  That means Shrek and all of his friends will be on board!  I'm a real Shrek fan so am very excited about this.

There are many other changes coming to Freedom in dry dock, too.

Enjoy!

Lois

We like Shrek too and plan to get the newst (and last) film to add to our collection. We might have an evening marathon (or weekend one) and view them all in sequence! The parade shots look like fun and yesterday's post of the Disney ship was fun - looks like a beautiful ship too.

The parade looks like it was fun! Getting Dream Works characters will be a great addition.

Good morning,

We are all excited about Shrek. I think it is cool that most adults like Shrek (do we identify????) as well as kids. Shrek is just good family fun.

Thanks so much, everyone for stopping by.

Very best,
Lois
