Wendy's Turn

Good morning,

The past two days I've featured our other two pups, Erik and Penny.

Today is Wendy's turn.  I took this picture when she appeared at my side while I sat at my computer eating a banana.  Of course, those eyes were telling me she hadn't had anything to eat for "weeeeeks!"

Yes, she got a piece of the banana.

Is it dinner time?

Good morning,

I'm convinced our dogs can tell time.  This sweet face appeared in my lap yesterday evening about 4:30 PM.  There was no mistaking the question:  Is it dinner time yet?

Erik is such a sweetie.

Penny In the Sun

Good morning,

Penny, our senior lady, now known as "The Queen" looked so pretty in the afternoon sun that I came out to take some pictures of her.

Penny was busy inspecting the wood pile where we are sure there are critters living.

Penny does an excellent job of tracking any critter who may have walked across our property.  It's an important job and she is very good at it.

Wood Worker Extraordinaire

Good morning,

Here's a peek into Kjell's wood workshop.  He's working on two new boxes, his original designs, for the shop.

The beautiful finish hasn't been added yet, but you can see the gorgeous corners of this box.

There will be a surprise to the design inside, too.

These two boxes will be available in the shop soon.

Eye Candy for Knitters

Good morning,

This is just a little eye candy for Knitters and Crocheters.

I took this picture of a box of yarn colors I had put together as I was designing a custom order patchwork sweater.  The colors sparkling in the sun were just so pretty!  The finished sweater will be featured in next month's Needlework Update.

I get great pleasure from simple things.  Life is good.

Fungus Among Us

Good morning,

Here's another Fungus Among Us that I spotted on an old tree trunk in our back yard. 

I'm not a student of fungus so can't identify them, but I do find them very pretty.

Another Little Lizard

Good morning,

I was pulling our trash can to the street this week and this fellow was watching me from the top of one of our driveway lights. 

If you're a fan of lizards, this guy is very pretty.  If you're not a fan of lizards, I guess he's creepy.
