This lovely African Violet is living in the window in our butler's pantry.
This sweet plant barely survived the winter in our dining room inside the french doors. I popped the few leaves that survived into this glass dish and wow!
I took this image about one week earlier when the first blossom appeared. It's so pretty I'm sharing....

In his pantry, I'm glad your butler was able to save the plant you almost killed on your dining room! Haha
Mark, you make me laugh. We've lived in this 100+ year old home for 48 years and the butler still hasn't shown up for work. We have a third floor that was designed as servant's quarters, too. Before they grew up, our two sons lived up there. Our daughter has grown up, but lives up there now; we're glad she is still here as we get older. She reminds us often that she is not the maid. ;) We've raised three kids and countless dogs here, but still no butler has come to work. We just have a lovely old home that has a wonderful history and very traditional spaces.
