Deer Antler Chews

 Good morning,

Above you see Lily (left) and Elsa.  Lily found Dad's stash of deer antlers in the basement so he cut several of them up to give the pups for chewies. The deer antlers are given to Catherine by a client of her CPA firm.  The client has wooded property where he finds discarded deer antlers so he collects them for Catherine to give to the pups.  Sections of natural deer antlers to use as chewies are available in pet stores and are quite expensive.

Of course, all the pups wanted the same piece of antler and you see who won that battle.

What is nice is to see Lily calm and enjoying that antler.

Nap time.  Chewing on deer antlers can be very tiring.

Is Wendy still tied up in her hat? I hope she'll be wresting with the others for antlers to chew!

Hi Tanya,
Wendy is no longer wearing her "party hat" and the stitches and bandages have been removed. I'm waiting for the hair to grow back on her ear, then will publish a picture of her. The Vet did a great job with the surgery! We can see some scarring from the surgery, but hope it won't show when the hair grows back on her ear.
Thank you for your prayers and kind thoughts. You are so very appreciated.
Hugs from Ohio,
Lois
