Needlework and Wood Working Update - March, 2020

Good morning,

The past month has been a busy one in my needlework studio and in Kjell's wood workshop!

I've loved experimenting with different gorgeous yarns and making things that will be beautiful for Spring.

Above is a shoulder or neck shawl that is useful year round.  It will be beautiful worn around your shoulders over a dress, draped around your neck with the point to the front or side, over a coat, or even as a beach cover up.  It's machine washable which is another great big plus for this one.  $40 available here.
This colorful shawl is larger than the first shown.  The blues and greens are right in style this year.  The soft yarn drapes beautifully!  $60 - Click here for more images.
This Scandinavian Intarsia Nordic hand knit hat is off white with gold and copper original design.  $32 available here.
This long heavy wool blend scarf features knit "pleats" that are very dressy.  It coordinates with hats, and other items available in the shop, too.  Scarf, $40.  Available here.
This large versatile lap or baby blanket is in the colors of the season.  These blues and greens are a beautiful choice for a man, woman, or baby.  Blankets are appreciated by new mothers and people of all ages.  $65.  Come see more images here.
I have been sold out of blue and white baby blankets in the shop for while so made another this month.  This generous size baby blanket comes with...
...a matching turtle toy.  What a darling baby gift!  The $60 blanket and turtle set is listed here.
This purple and red tweed Cables and Lace Sweater is made with wonderfully soft yarn.  It is a custom order that has been delivered to the buyer.  Also in the order were...
...a matching hat...
...headband...
...and boot cuffs.

We have similar sweaters, hats, headbands, and boot cuffs available in the shop.
This is a snapshot I took with my phone camera of a corner to corner stitch dish cloth.  I was playing with the pattern stitch and developed it to use for the first two shawls at the beginning of this post.  I'm already using this dishcloth and the following one myself.
Such a pretty pattern stitch!  I made these in cotton yarn.
I just LOVE these roses!
These are slightly different sizes.  They are available in Walnut Wood $54 and Mahogany Wood $73.
This beautiful bowl with lid in Mahogany and Walnut Woods features engraved Celtic braid.  $84.  More images and information here.

We sincerely appreciate your encouragement, likes, shares, favorites, and purchases, too!

We now return to our regularly scheduled blogging.  ;)

All the best,
Lois
