Soup Night

Good morning,

It was soup night and we decided on chunky cauliflower and carrot soup once again.  This time My Honey asked me to add some sausage.  Nice twist.  :)

Do you make soup at home?  We have become more and more fond of a simple meal of soup.  As the weather gets cooler, it just seems right.

All the best,
Lois

Your soup sounds and looks delicious!
Yes, as it gets cooler outside, soup becomes a dominant meal inside. I enjoy soup with as many veggies as possible; it is both filling and warming.

yes, Lois, we have also started enjoying soups once again. This week I made lentil soup, unfortunately on a humid and warmish day. But this weekend it will be cooler and minestrone soup is in the plans for Sat night along with some homemade bread. This cauliflower soup looks wonderful. have you posted the recipe before?

Hi Beatrice and DUTA,

It's always good to hear from you both.

Yes, Beatrice, I published my recipe for the soup here:

Of course, it changes slightly every time I make it. ;)
