Old Glory in the Sun

Good morning,

The flag looked so pretty in the sun when we returned from a walk that I snapped a picture of it with my phone camera.

I make a point to NOT be political here on my blog, but how wonderful that we can fly this flag.  I'm sick and tired of people being upset about Old Glory being flown INSIDE the USA.

I asked My Honey, now a proud American by choice - legally, what would happen in Norway, his country of birth, if someone had complained about the Norwegian flag being flown inside Norway.  He said it would be unthinkable that anyone would even consider saying that, much less trying to do anything about it.

A beautiful shot. I didn't know there is a controversy in the US over flying the flag there. How sad.

The U.S. flag flies quite a bit in my small town area.

I am so with you on this...and I get ticked off at visitors come here from other countries when they start complaining about how we fly our flag! Yet they want to come here! I really don't get that.

Another stunning picture, Lois! You've certainly got the eye! I agree with you about the flag issue.
