North Carolina Rest Stop

Good morning,

We have stopped at this North Carolina rest stop two or three times a year for the past fifteen years.
This is one of the most beautiful spots that is so much more than a comfort stop.  The gardens are lovely at all times of the year.
This is a perfect place to stop for a picnic.
We just may do that when we are there again in July.  :)

Enjoy,
Lois

That is a beautiful spot. I've noticed in my years of traveling that states are putting more emphasis on their rest areas along interstate highways, especially the welcome centers. Pennsylvania and Tennessee are among the best, in my opinion, of the states I travel through.

A truly restful rest stop. Safe travels.

It is too bad that that all rest stops aren't like that!
