Today's images are a continuation of our visit to Labadee, Haiti, Royal Caribbean's private island.
A last look back at the huge Freedom of the Seas reminds me of the old days before the dock was built and we had to tender ashore in small boats. It certainly is more convenient now!
There are so many different things to do here that you'd have to be here a couple of weeks to try them all.
Today we're on our way to the beach where daughter Catherine will snorkel in the warm, clear water.
Barefoot Beach is a private area for those who are frequent cruisers and/or who are living in suites aboard the ship.
We passed Barefoot Beach and moved on to the beach for any of the cruisers. We were quite happy here.
A staff member brought beach chairs for us and placed them where we wanted to sit.
Our daughter applied sun screen for Aunt Carol and I immediately took up residence on my beach chair for the duration. ;)
This was my view...
...for the next couple of hours.
*sigh*
Enjoy!

How very beautiful and serene! I am sure you had a marvelous visit,
Kathy
It's very beautiful there! Love your photos.
Very nice. Our one cruise, many years ago on RC, we stopped at Labadee and had a great time.
Ahhh...I would love to sit right beside you admiring the lovely green of the trees overhead. Maybe a few minutes in the sunshine and then back to relax! What fun.
What a wonderful way to spend a day in November! Delightful!
Never has it been that a ship like yours goes in for a brunch, or it maybe for dinner. Lovely islands.
Sure looks mighty serene there. Wouldn't mind sitting in your chair myself. Guess I'd have to kick your Aunt off however!! ...debbie
