Water Lily and Aerator

Good morning,

Our gold fish pond is looking very pretty this Spring.

Daughter Catherine surprised me and cleaned it out in May for my Mothers Day present.  How thoughtful!  I've done this every year for 39 years, but this year I wasn't feeling up to it after surgery in April.
The water lily is back again this year and the first pink blossom has appeared.  There will be many more.  I took this image early in the morning.  By Noon the flower will be fully open.
This little gadget is new this year.  In previous years I've always had a pump and sometimes a fountain to keep the water moving and aerated.  The struggle was to keep the pump from clogging up and stopping.

This year we bought a floating aerator that is solar powered.  Of course, it only works when the sun is out, but that is enough to do the job and it doesn't clog!

Ah, yes, Spring and almost Summer.

Solar gadgets are worth every penny; especially in sun blessed countries.
Enjoy the gadget!
