T-Shirt Shopping - Toensberg, Norway

Good morning,

When we travel we bring home t-shirts from the places we visit.  We get them for ourselves and for our daughter who does the same for us when she travels.  We already have all of the other trinkets from souvenir shops.  T-shirts are something we can use and will eventually wear out so we don't have a collection of them for the rest of our natural lives as is the case with key chains.

So, we looked in downtown Toensberg, Norway, for shirts with "Toensberg" or "Norway" on them.

Look what we found:
And, these, too:
*sigh*
Perhaps the retirement plan should be to open a shop on the square in Toensberg, Norway, with Toensberg and Norway t-shirts!
 Nope, still can't find them.
How about a cup of coffee....
 ...where we can people watch...
 ...and enjoy the flowers.

When we got home I went on line and purchased t-shirts for my daughter and granddaughter from a US artist.  On the shirts were Norwegian Forest Cats and the Norwegian Flag.  Go figure....

;),
Lois

T-shirts were also what we used to buy when travelling, but we soon had too many, and over the years have slowed down consdierably. We refrain from buying souvenirs and prefer to have memories and photos of the places we have been to. And, it is also nice sharing on our respective blog posts.
