Needlework Update - September, 2015

Good morning,

It's that time again!  Today's post is the picture story of what has flowed from the crochet hooks and knitting needles since last month's Needlework Update.

Above is a large afghan blanket in Christmas colors.  What a lovely way to stay warm on a cold, snowy night.
In keeping with holiday colors this custom order red cables and lace sweater also flowed from the knitting needles this month.
Expanding on the concept of a design I created for a special order last month, I designed and made this sweater and hat set for baby.
Are you taking a bottle of wine to the hostess of the next dinner party?  This gift wrap won't be thrown away.
This is a custom order bottle cover that has been delivered.
Are you always looking for your keys, cell phone, or glasses? Do you know someone who is?  New this month!  This is a Key Keeper Basket that you can hang on your door knob with a specially constructed opening at the rim or on your table.  You'll never have to search for your keys or other important items again when you're in a hurry to leave the house.
There are several of these in the shop in different colors.

Each month I make a few more hats for custom orders and to restock the shop.
This textured band design is new in the shop this month.
This Nordic Intarsia Knit Hat was a custom item that has been delivered.
I love turtles.  It seems a few of them hatch here every month.  :)
This fellow is in the shop at this writing.
And, finally, something new!  This is Kelly the Jelly Fish.  :)  This prototype has already been claimed, but I'll have to make a few more for the shop.  It's on the list!

Thanks again for all of your encouragement, comments, and likes.  :)  Many of the items pictured in this post and others are available in the shop - link below.  If you think of something knit or crocheted that you'd like to have but you don't see pictured, let me know and perhaps I can make it happen.

We now return to our regularly scheduled blogging.

All the best,
Lois
