Cruising with friends and relatives is so nice because no one has to cook and no one has to wash dishes. We have time to just eat, talk, and enjoy.
Above are friends Harry and Doris who have logged more than 300 Royal Caribbean cruises; they will celebrate their 40th year of Royal Caribbean cruising next year. In classic fashion, Doris is taking a picture of me as I am taking a picture of her.
We enjoyed the Diamond and Pinnacle Member breakfast together as we had with Martha and Russell, our friends from Texas, the week before.
Here's Doris enjoying Bolero's Lounge with her friend Deidre.
Harry and Doris have booked another cruise aboard Freedom next week. :)
My brother and his wife enjoy cruising, too. He famously sends me an email asking where we are, then as soon as I answer he sends another email to tell us that he has booked the following week to join us.
Cruising with friends and relatives rocks!
Best,
Lois

No cooking - no cleaning up. YES!
Breakfast looks yummy. What a fun way to enjoy friends and family.
300 Royal Caribbean cruises? Now that is loyalty!

You know, having a family reunion on a cruise is brilliant! Everyone can enjoy themselves, no pressure. I am enjoying all your posts about your cruise, Lois. :D

Hola Lois: Por fin he cogido un ratito para poder visitarte. Aunque cada vez que entro en tu blog y veo esas fotos del crucero espero con ansia mis vacaciones. Besos.
Glad you are having such a wonderful time. I had the opportunity to go on a cruise many years ago and it was heavenly. I, too, appreciate good food without the responsibility! ~karen
That's a brotherly brother, a blessing. :)
That's wonderful! There's nothing like enjoying good times with friends and relatives you enjoy being with.
Do like the sound of no cooking and cleaning!! Nice to have your long time friends aboard!! ...debbie
Your pictures always give me the holiday feeling, Lois. We stayed at the SS Rotterdam last night. In 1953 it started cruising between Rotterdam and NYC. It is a hotel these days. We enjoyed a tour and a night over on board. SUPER!
Enjoy a sweetest of Sundays my friend o xx o
Lois, thanks for that remark...I am going to use it in my campaign to do something about this. I am also thinking of jumping on a table a la Sally Fields with 'Strike' written on a bit of cardboard.
How long is this cruise? you seem to have been away for ever.....lucky you.
Yeah life on a cruise ship is like heaven, haha ;-)
and yes still jealous!

You are having way too much fun!
Now that's a lot of cruising for your friends - how many do you figure that you and Kjell have been on, Lois?
Good morning,
Yes, it is great fun. This morning I have to do some serious deck walking, though, after all the good food again last night.
We will leave the ship in July and enjoy a road trip home. We look forward to seeing the family including the canine family. :)
Thank you so much for stopping by and for your kind comments.
Very best,
Lois
Good Morning.... didn't "hear" from you on Sunday so having Lois withdrawal and decided to lurk over here... what a surprise, great for smiles!!! Did you get the Song of Norway picture sent about a week ago? Love your site, pictures and the great "things" you make that I can only enjoy :-))))
Lois,
Very nice pictures from Freedom. It was great to have breakfast with you and Kjell and seeing you all again. Thanks!
