Good morning,

It's time for a  picture from the Caribbean again.  ;)

The picture was sent to us by Martha and Russell Hooker.

Gorgeous!  Thank you!

Wood Carving Gift

Good morning,

This lovely carving was made by our cabin attendant aboard Freedom of the Seas.  We were fortunate to have the same wonderful attendant for two ten week tours on board.  We got to know him and hear about his family.

When my husband was getting close to retirement, our cabin attendant arranged for a friend from his home town in Indonesia to bring this carving on board in time to give it to my husband as a retirement gift.  It is now displayed prominently in our home.

Will will miss our sea family, but have so many wonderful memories.

Thank you, Iwan.

Idelbrook Wendy Darling Evensen

Good morning,

That's our sweet Wendy in today's image.  What a sweetheart!

I took this image shortly after we got home from the ship last month.  Wendy didn't leave my side for several days.

It is good to be home.

Georgia Rest Stop Pansies

Good morning,

I took these pictures of pansies at a Georgia rest stop in early November.
Since we live in Ohio, we generally don't see blooming pansies at this time of the year.
These appear to have just been planted.

Very nice!

Giant Apple Pie

Good morning,

Here's another picture from Freedom of the Seas.  I took this one with my phone the last week we were on board.

Nothing is small on board a ship including the desserts!

This apple pie only lasted a few moments when the serving began. Yes, it was served with vanilla ice cream.   It was delicious!

Man's Best Friends

Good morning,

The first half of November was just beautiful in Cincinnati.  The weather was warm and the skies were blue.  We had fun sitting out on the patio with the dogs just after we had gotten home from the ship.

The sunlight was bright when I took these pictures.  Look at how shiny Erik is!
Of course, Dad had some treats...
...so Dad was a very popular guy with Erik, Penny, and Wendy.

It is so good to be home.
