Yummy Filipino Fish

Good morning,

This is a little different today from the usual food pictures I publish.  ;)

We are very lucky to know many people of different backgrounds so we learn about customs and foods other than our own.

This is fish prepared by Filipino friends of ours who were kind enough to share some with us.  You can see it is the whole fish except for the head (oh thank you for removing the head!) that has been fried.  Our friends eat the whole thing, but after trying that, I decided to use a fork and go for the tender meat inside. 

Do you like to try different things?  We sure do.

Po on the Promenade

Good morning,

Here's Dreamwork's Po on the Royal Promenade aboard Freedom of the Seas. 

We just love these movies and the characters who seem to pop up everywhere aboard the ship.  The characters stop to pose for pictures with anyone who wants one.  There are as many adults as there are children who want to have a picture.  So cute!

Lunch at Casanova's in Grand Cayman

Good morning,

Our dear friends Martha and Russell invited My Honey and me to lunch in Grand Cayman.

So, we boarded a tender boat to travel between Freedom of the Seas and the island.

As we pulled away from Freedom we had some fantastic photo opportunities.

 What a gorgeous ship!

 The guys were in a huddle trying to hear each other above the roar of the tender motors.

 We passed one of the tour groups...

 ...then left the tender and walked through the shopping area to the street.

 We walked along the road next to the beach to Casanova's Italian Restaurant...

 ...where we were seated outside on the deck with a beautiful view of our "mother ship."

 I enjoyed cheese spinach manicotti and a wonderful couple of hours with My Honey and our friends.

 Finally for today is an image of a "boat" that looks more like a bus.  No, I didn't have too much wine, that's really a boat.

Chocolate Dragon

Good morning,

This fabulous chocolate dragon is hand made and displayed in the Jade (Asian Food) section of the Windjammer Restaurant aboard Freedom of the Seas.

The dragon appears to me to be one of the stars of the Dreamworks Movie, How to Train Your Dragon.

As much as I love chocolate, I wouldn't eat this artwork!

Puss In Boots

Good morning,

Dreamworks Characters are aboard Freedom of the Seas and we see them often!

Here Puss In Boots is strolling the Royal Promenade and posing for pictures with anyone who would like to have one.

I really love these costumes.  They are just as great up close as they are in the pictures.  :)

Celebrity Ship in Sillhouette - St. Maarten, Dutch West Indies

Good morning,

I have only one image today, but it deserves its own post.  This is a Celebrity Cruise ship in silhouette as she leaves the port of St. Maarten, Dutch West Indies.  It is such a beautiful time of the day as the sun sets and the lights on the ship become brighter and brighter.

H2O Zone - Kids Waterpark - Freedom of the Seas

Good morning,

Does this look like fun or what!  I took this image fairly early in the morning before many children were here, but this is generally a very busy place on the ship.

Parents and kids can have a fabulous time together in this shallow water park just for them.
