Road Trip - Heading South

Good morning,

Here we go again!  We are on a road trip heading South from Cincinnati to Port Canaveral.

As always when we travel and are at sea, my blog posts will lag a few days from real time.
A different color for a barn, but a perfect color for a garden center!
Rolling hills of Kentucky.  :)

This day spanned the weather forecast for this time of the year from snow flurries to bright sunshine.
 Here we are passing the...
Kentucky Horse Farm near Lexington, Kentucky.
Kentucky contains a wealth of photo opportunities for barn enthusiasts.
So, here we go again to warmer places for the next ten weeks.

I hope you'll enjoy our journey with us.

All the best,
Lois

That icy road looks very dangerous. Hope you had a safe trip.

Glad you and Kjell were able to spend Christmas at home with family and friends, Lois. The traditional Norwegian dinner post looked delicious even online! Safe gravels and Happy New year on board ship if that's where you will be celebrating the arrival of 2014.

I like the green barn! Very different, but perfect for a garden center.

Love the scenes from your road trip. I would love to be traveling to a warmer place. It is been cold here in NC and to be rainy again this weekend. I told my husband today that I am ready for the early days of Spring. Thanks for your visit to my blog. I wish you and yours a Great New Year.
Love,
Marie
