Needlework Update - December, 2013

Good morning,

There are fewer items in the Needlework Update this month since it's such a busy month of family celebrations.

Above is a custom order red vest in basket weave stitch...
...and this is a custom order grey vest for the same lady in my Lacy Ladders stitch.  Both of these are now living happily in New York.

This beautiful extra large Green Lovers Afghan Blanket is new in the shop.  What a lovely Christmas gift!  Click on the image for the details about it.
My Honey has been busy making wood boxes in his wood workshop this month, too.  :)
These are already spoken for.  I absolutely LOVE these!
On my knitting needles now is a custom order that is due to be finished and delivered by January 19.  This style takes longer in design and production so I've been working on it every chance I get this month.  There is a similar one in pale yellow in the shop as of this writing.  I am now taking custom orders for the shipping date of March 15, 2014.

There are more than 170 items still available in our on line shop at this writing.  If you're looking for something special for someone special, please stop in and take a look at EvensensProductions.com.  We sincerely appreciate our customers who support our little business.

What are you making this month?  I enjoy seeing all that you are making and baking for the holidays, too!  Wow!  What a creative group of bloggers!

All the very best,
Lois

Amazing. That grey vest looks exactly like the one I am wearing right now at work!!! And I could swear the red one is just like the one I wore to work on Monday.

Thanks, everyone, for your kind words!

Kelly, your items will be on the way today. Thank you!!

Sherry, it is quite a coincidence, isn't it! ;) Seriously, I'm glad you like your vests. I love that cables and lace pattern. I plan to make a slip over sweater in the same pattern for the shop by Spring. First, though, I have two custom order sweaters to complete.

All the very best,
Lois
