Rest Stop - Jellico, Tennessee

Good morning,

I took these images earlier this year.  I just felt I needed to see some pictures without snow in them today.  ;)
These images were taken in March when from one day to another winter and spring took turns.  This rest stop in Jellico, Tennessee, on the border of Kentucky and Tennessee is one of our regular stops when traveling from Ohio to Florida.  We will be passing this again at the end of December and I'm sure it won't be as green here!
What a beautiful memorial to our veterans.  We are reminded that freedom is not free.

All the best,
Lois

Nice rest stop. Usually, people (myself included) stop at an exit with stores and food. It's worthwile to stop at the rest stop rest stops.

I could look at snow every day of the year and never tire. However..it's always nice to be reminded to those who sacrificed so much for what we enjoy every day. Freedom.
