Birthday Dinner at Boi Na Braza

Good morning,

For my birthday dinner, My Honey took our daughter Catherine, Bill, Erica, and me to dinner at Boi Na Braza in downtown Cincinnati.

This is a Brazilian restaurant where the food just keeps coming until you tell them to stop.

The salad and vegetables are served buffet style, then the gauchos start appearing with different types of meat - 15 of them all together.

You have a little card in front of you that is green on one side and red on the other.  As long as you keep the green side turned up more and more food will continue to arrive at your table.

You simply eat, and eat, and eat until you finally say...
...by turning your card over to the red side.
And, then there is dessert.
 *sigh*

After we had dessert, my birthday treat arrived.  It was a mango sorbet and as tasty as it was beautiful.
I had to take a second shot straight down to show the artwork on the plate.  :)
I took a picture of the front of the restaurant, but it was raining and the picture didn't turn out very well at all.  The picture above is of the Christmas tree in the lobby of the Westin Hotel.  We passed through here on our way back to the car.

So, thank you, Honey, for a wonderful birthday dinner and to our daughter, Catherine, and friends Bill and Erica for joining us.

Lois

Well, then....a belated Happy Birthday to you. Now, seriously...15 different kinds of meat? My husband would really 'oink' on that, for sure.

The desserts look absolutely divine!!

Hope your celebrating didn't stop and dinner and you enjoyed every minute of your special day.

Happy birthday dear Lois!
I wish you all the best and many happy days!

In Switzerland when you can eat and eat, we say "à Discrétion"! It's a french word but a part of Switzerland is speaking french (an other part italy, romance and of corse german).

Kind regards
Angela

Happy Birthday Lois! I'm so glad your family spoiled you. My In Laws spent a total of 15 years doing church work in Brazil, and we love to go to Brazilian restaurants, too.
