Making Friends in the Terminal

Good morning,

Our granddaughter, Anna (left), sailed with us for a week to celebrate her high school graduation (with honors) and her scholarship to Xavier University to study Bio Physics.

Anna and our daughter, Catherine (not shown here), drove to the port the day before we were to sail.
Boarding was delayed so we spent a few hours in the terminal where Anna got out her cards and made friends with others who were waiting with us.  This family had traveled from Poland.  Despite language barriers, Anna was able to teach the game of Fish.

Eventually, we all boarded Freedom of the Seas for a fantastic celebration cruise for Anna.  :)

Enjoy,

Lois

It's fun to meet new people, even if you don't speak the same language.

Now that's a girl that is going places. Kudos to her for her scholarship and her personality that allows her to interact so well with other people!
