Tree Tunnel - Brevard Zoo

Good morning,

I'm going through some images from our visit to the Brevard Zoo in Viera, Florida.

This zoo has many open area displays for the critters and the people are the ones "caged" by walkways, bridges, and in this case, a walkway through a tree.

Walking through the tree is so much more fun that just seeing it from the outside.

Enjoy,
Lois

oh that would be really neat to do.It looks so nice before you enter . Is it a little light or dark when you go throug?

Last night hubby and I watched different zoos on t.v.

Was a education from Zoo keepers. Mother animals with babies.

The huge Ape when she has a baby.

She dont even like the Zoo keeper to look at her new born or her till she is ready to show.

She covers herself over with the hay and the baby for days. She has a baby every 8 years or more.

Wont eat for days later but the baby is okay with her milk.

She later comes out and shows baby off to the Zoo keeper first and then goes over to another Mother Monkey who just had a baby. The two sit to-gether. Funny when you watch it but very interesting. She hugs her baby and kisses her. rubs its head. Loves it just like we do with our children.

The program was fantastic. I never seen anything programed as such.

A real educated on Mothers of the wild and the babies.

Have a nice Monday.
