Sourdough Pancakes - Recipe

Good morning,

It's time for something to eat again.  :)  Breakfast can be anytime for us!

These sourdough pancakes are so yummy regardless of how you make them.  Make them thinner as a Scandinavian treat, thicker for American tastes, or however you like them where you live.  My Honey likes them made thin and served with fruit jam so he can roll them up.  I like them thicker and stacked with butter between them and maple syrup on top.

So, just enjoy them any way you wish.  :)

Best,
Lois

It's nearly breakfast time and reading this recipe made us want to try these pancakes, but alas no sourdough starter...maybe next time. Today it's a trip to the local diner and maybe we'll order pancakes!

I've never eaten sour dough pancakes, but I bet their good. Bob and I like ours reg. thickness with lots of butter and Maple syrup. Reilly likes hers the size of a 50 cent piece with syrup, and Madison likes hers folded with grape jelly!! Isn't it funny how we're all different!! Your look yummy too!! ...debbie

Hi,

Yes, these pancakes taste really good. There is no sourdough flavor to them that I can determine, they just get a nice texture from the sourdough. Sourdough tastes different in different parts of the world and mine is pretty mild.

Thanks to Debbie at Strings of Purls for the Blogging award. Tune in tomorrow (Wednesday) for my list of things about me and my nominations.

Thank you, Ladies, for stopping by. :))

Best,
Lois
