Ohio Farm Land - Road Trip

Good morning,

Today I'm sharing just a few pictures taken from the car window while we were on a road trip from Cincinnati, Ohio, to Canal Winchester, just South East of Columbus, to visit my brother and sister-in-law.
Ohio has wonderful farm land.  We have small family farms and large commercial farms.  The Ohio State University is a leader in providing agriculture education.
This was just a beautiful day and I hope you enjoy the few pictures I took.  It was so much fun to get out and enjoy the countryside and to visit family at the same time.

We love to travel.  I'll have more travel images soon when I have time to format the pictures and write a little text to go with them.  :)

Happy Spring!
Lois

When I travel South to visit relatives, both in Virginia and in Alabama and Florida, people often say, "Why don't you just fly?" Part of the reason I don't fly is the hassle with dealing with airlines. But I honestly enjoy driving along watching the countryside change from town to town and region to region. In early spring when I head to the Deep South, I enjoy watching spring come alive - especially when I left home with a jacket on to keep warm!

This is nice, Lois, very nice. I haven't lived in the States since 1973, and have visited a handful of times. Seeing these help me picture better some of the books I've read.

Have a safe trip.

Enjoyed the Ohio landscape photos. I love looking at the farms when we travel. We have friends in Cincinnati, Bidwell, and Mt. Gilead, Ohio. It's a neat State. Bob goes to the race track at Mid Valley? can't remember the name exactly. But it's close to Mt. Gilead. He's going pretty soon as a matter of fact with some friends.
Enjoy your visits and trip!! Hope you don't hit rain!! ...debbie

They were beautiful photos Lois. Our weather has been nothing but clouds, humidity and rain, rain and more rain!
It was a pleasure to see pretty clouds with sunshine! Thank you!
Love Di ♥

Good morning, Ladies,

Yes, Sherry, I agree about the driving vs. flying. In fact, that's why we drive to Miami when we have to go there.

Ambar, I understand how different it is to be living in different climates. We live in tropical areas part of the year, and in Cincinnati the rest of the year. What a difference in plants, trees, weather! It's good to be able to enjoy both places.

Debbie and Diana, we were lucky to get a sunny day to visit with my family in Canal Winchester. The sky was just gorgeous!

Love ya all,
Lois
