Needlework Update

Good morning,

It's time for another needlework update.  I surprise myself when I realize how much I've made in the past couple of weeks.  Above is a Beautiful Baby Bath and Beauty Set.  The green yarn is soft linen so makes a perfect wash cloth, soap bag, head band, and toy turtle.  It's a perfect baby shower gift.  This will go into the on line shop when I get back to Cincinnati.
This is a triangle shawl that has a terrific soft red sparkle in the yarn.  I'll have to photograph it differently to be able to show off its beauty before I put it in the shop next month.  I love the way this drapes.
Catherine's basket weave tunic sweater is finished!
Here is another knitting pattern for the shop...
...and another.  This one is a bathrobe and slippers.  I just love this!
I always need to have something sweet nearby, even though I can't eat these.  ;)
More turtles!  These seem to just multiply on my coffee table.
I liked the last baby carriage blanket with matching doll so much I made another.
And, I had to make a baby blanket and toy in boy colors, too.  :)

So, that's what I've been up to with the knitting needles and crochet hooks.  Needless to say, I have a suitcase just for tools and supplies when I travel.

I tend to find myself working at least one season in advance.  Are you planning ahead to Fall by knitting fall clothing now?

I'll be back to cruising topics tomorrow.  :))

Very best,
Lois

Good morning,

Between other events here, yes, my hands are always busy. I guess the worst thing that could ever happen to me is to not be able to get to my knit or crochet supplies and have to sit quietly in a chair doing nothing. :\ I have a feeling many more of you out there are the same way after reading your blogs about all the fantastic things you do and make!

Thank you so much, everyone, for stopping by and for your very kind comments.

Best,
Lois
