Smoky Mountains - Blue Ridge Mountains

Good morning,

Here are a few more images from our road trip a few months ago.
The Blue Ridge Mountains certainly got their name honestly!

 Just beautiful!

 Cell tower in the mountains.
I remember driving through here a few years ago and not being able to make a phone call on my cell phone.  Now with my smart phone I can surf the web on my phone while My Honey is driving.

The muted browns and greens are so pretty.
It's amazing to see just how small we are when we get into the mountains.

Enjoy,
Lois

That is a really beautiful drive, Lois. The mountains are spectacular and do show us how small we are, as you said. Have a wonderful week. Pam

Beautiful mountains!

From the coloration and foliage colors, this road trip looked like late fall which is the best time to be driving thru this area. We did a similar road trip 2 years ago and those mountains are awesome.
