Veterans Day

Good morning,

Today is Veterans Day in the USA.  Similar days are celebrated in many other countries of the world, some on the same date.

For a history of Veterans Day in the USA, click here.

In our immediate family we have Navy, Air Force, and Army Veterans.

This is a good day to call and thank any and all veterans that we know.

The images of the stickers on the car were taken in a restaurant parking lot in South Carolina, USA.

The flag hangs in a hotel lobby in North Carolina.

Very best,
Lois

My Dad was a World War II veteran. We owe a great deal of gratitude to all veterans, current and past, for the freedom we have today.

Hi Lois..we will never know the extent that the vets have suffered for this country...
They need so much of our support for there sacrifices..

You know, I didn't call anyone. I guess I've been fussing over myself (seems like I ate something that contains corn) and didn't even think of why today was not a work day...

I'm going to call my Brother-Out-Law tomorrow. Thanks for the reminder.
