Today's images were taken while we were driving through the State of Indiana on our way from Chicago to Cincinnati.
We stopped at McDonald's for one of their fancy coffees and realized we had a photo op at the edge of the parking lot.
This corn field was calling out for us to bring our cameras. I said to My Honey that there were probably people in the restaurant lookout out and saying, "Look at those crazy people with the Ohio license tags over there taking pictures of corn." Yep, that's us. ;)
A little further down the road we came to the wind mills we had seen on our way North a couple of days earlier.
This time we stopped and composed some pictures of the windmills in the farmer's field.
The sky was overcast and we were concerned about the ability to get good images of the white windmills against the sky.
But, we are both very pleased with the results of our efforts.
The images here on my blog are the images I took. My Honey's images of windmills will appear on his blog here where he is publishing an image a day. I'm not sure what date windmills will appear there, but I am sure they will appear.
There must be a whole lot of popcorn in those silos!
I love this image of the farmer working in his very dry field. I took this one while we were sailing along at 70 mph.
And, now, here we are crossing the border from Indiana to Ohio. We're home once again. :)
I hope you've enjoyed our drive through Indiana with us.
Very best,
Lois

Hi Lois, Yes I enjoued the road trip to Indiana and glad you are home safely. Looks like you had great travel weather for driving and photos. I will be checking out your honey's blog later this weekend.
Always enjoy going along on your trips vicariously. Nice photo line-up today.
I love windmills, especially traditional ones like you see a lot of in Holland. In the absence of those however I am happy to gaze mesmerized at the modern ones!!
What a great trip back home! I liked the corn myself. The windmills are amazing aren't they. So, so LARGE! We are having our first cold day here today, with temps only about 37, if that. Sometimes the sun comes out. Imagine the fireplaces will be on tonight....debbie
HAve a loveliest of weekend, Lois xxxx
I have the exact same picture of the popcorn place taken after a couple of us drove up from the Range to Lafayette for a fair event.
Nice roadtrip through Indiana. I really like the photo of the farmer plowing too. It's amazing how well photos sometimes turn out when you are whizzing by so fast.
Good morning,
Yes, this was a fun trip filled with photo ops. :) That is exactly what we love to do - bring home photo souvenirs.
We will be out on the road again very soon, too!
Thank you, everyone, for stopping by.
Very best,
Lois
