Sand Hill Cranes at Orlando Airport

Good morning,

I drove over to the Orlando airport from Port Canaveral to pick up Daughter Catherine and Aunt Carol.

Every time I go to the cell phone lot I find Sand Hill Cranes hanging around.
The cranes are very tame and walk up to cars looking for handouts.
I suspect they get plenty of reinforcement, too!
This is the view in the other direction.
That's the airport over there where I will go to pick up Catherine and Carol when I get their call that their plane has landed and they are ready for pick up.  The cell phone lot is a very smart idea so those of us picking up passengers have a place to wait away from the busy airport.

All the best,
Lois

Saw a couple of these cranes when we visited the zoo in Salisbury, MD a couple of weekends ago. They were very noisy for just 2 so can imagine what a gathering would sound like.

Love the Crane! Would they were that tame when we see them here! We can't even get within a quarter mile of them when they're in our area.
