Sorrtentos and Bull & Bear

Good morning,

I'm out roaming around aboard Freedom of the Seas with my camera again.

Above is Sorrento's Pizzeria, one of our favorite spots.  :)
Outside the restaurant are a few more tables along the painted brick wall.  Yes, this is aboard a ship.  ;)
Across the Royal Promenade from Sorrentos is the Bull & Bear Pub.  This is a perfect place to sit with a brew and watch the world go by.

The windows on the decks above are windows of "inside" cabins that overlook the Royal Promenade.  The "feel" is of a street in an old European town.

Enjoy,
Lois

Because I have never been on a cruise I have a question. Does it cost extra to eat in these bistro type restaurants?

Hi Seajaes,

It doesn't cost anything extra to have pizza at Sorrento's, but drinks other than regular coffee or tea on board are separately charged. The three specialty restaurants on board Freedom of the Seas, Portofino Italian Restaurant, Chops Steak Restaurant, and Johnny Rockets require a nominal cover charge.

You can cruise and eat excellent food in the dining room and some other venues without paying extra throughout the cruise.

All the best,
Lois

It doesn't look like a ship. Where's the cables and pipes? How come everything isn't painted haze grey?

Love it, Mark. I doubt very much the US Navy will have ships like this one very soon. ;)

All the best,
Lois

That is really neat looking! Just like you're outside walking down the actual street!

This ship isn't missing much of anything, is it?
