Saturday Treat

Good morning,

You can't always stay on a diet, can you!  Well, I can't.

This is our usual Saturday treat:  Norwegian waffles, ice cream, strawberry topping, and a glob (my Mom's word) of whipped cream.

Yum!

Lois  :)

I think I would weigh 500 lbs if I lived on a cruise. How do you do it? The waffles look yummy.

Will you be enjoying this Saturday night treat while at sea as well, Lois.

Beatrice - that is a Saturday afternoon treat every Saturday while at sea. It's a Norwegian thing. ;)

My posts lag in real time. I upload photos when we are in US ports when I have my own connection and more bandwidth. :) That's why the Saturday treat just appeared on Tuesday.

Nedra - I just have to say it is quite a battle with all the good food on board. It's not easy. It takes LOTS of walking the deck so I don't get so upset with weight gain I want to walk the plank. ;)

Thanks, everyone, for stopping by and for your kind comments.

All the best,
Lois

When I'm able to find some safe dairy, I'm going to try a glob, too. I've never eaten any. :)
