Nail Soup

 Good morning,

Daddy is in the kitchen again.  This is a marvelous sausage soup that can be made with sausage and whatever veggies you have available.

There is a story about Nail Soup (sometimes called Stone Soup).  No, there are no nails or stones in the soup, but here's the story.

Yum!

I learned something new when I read about the "stone" soup on Wikipedia. As you know, we know it as spikersuppe/nailsoup. It is interesting how stories are told all over the world, and customized to the traditions. It looks very good!

Oh, I always taught about "stone soup" and we read the storybook about it and made some in our crockpot in the classroom. The students always loved that project! Yours looks very full and delicious!
