Oil Rigs

Good morning,

During our road trip we saw many familiar sights. This one was familiar to My Honey who had been here about 40 years earlier while in the merchant marine.
What a gorgeous day for a road trip to Galveston.

I am fascinated with oil rigs. Flying from Cayman to Houston, I saw several from the airplane window. Twice, I've seen them being towed by Grand Cayman on their way to the Gulf Of Mexice. (Someone told me they are assembled in Bonaire). They are incredibly huge, like the skyline of an entire city floating by!
Below is a link to photos I took of an oil rig being towed. I took these pictures from my house!
