West Virginia Barn

Good morning,

This old barn certainly has some stories.

Did I forget to straighten this one?  No.  We are on an uphill grade on the highway.  Yes, the barn is leaning, the picture isn't ajar.  The trees behind the barn provide the anchor for proper alignment.

Enjoy,
Lois

There's something beautiful about an old barn like that one.

It looks like it will eventually fall into the hillside doesn't it? Nice shot!

We do not have barns in abundance where I live. I love to admire yours and others.

My sister who passed away did own a barn but
as a kid. Then got married. I really never realized back then that barns are beautiful.

Now my niece has a farm but lives far away . She bought a 100 year old house to her property with barn. It was photographed with the horse as well.

I must look in my box of photos and put up one day.

Look at how the fence is falling down too, out back. Sad but wonderful barn!

Your background makes me feel like I'm drowning! blub, blub....

I'll bet that barn near drowns, too, every time it comes a gully washer!
