Freedom of the Seas in St. Thomas, USVI - A Quick Trip Ashore

Good morning,

Here we are back in St. Thomas again.  Time seems to fly out here.  We were docked way out this time so it was a little longer walk to get to the post office to mail a few things back to the mainland.
The beautiful part of the walks, though, are the beautiful flowers.
After mailing a few cards and letters back home we stopped in for a Pepsi, BLT, and fries...
...at one of the local restaurants.
Then, it was back to the "mother ship" and a few hours later off to our next port.

We truly do love St. Thomas.  Everything we could possibly need is right at the port and it's nice to be able to access a US Post Office while we are out here floating around. :)

All the best,
Lois

That truly IS the mother ship! It looks so nice to be walking around in shorts and t-shirts; yet I'm hoping for a white Christmas here in Illinois! The weather has been pretty mild so far.

Ship ahoy!

Nice to hear from you always and your sharing of pictures.

A beautiful ship indeed.

Those fries look yummier.

In Canada we are usually the one who is snow bound. In my area up north.

No snow for Christmas.

Enjoy yourself. Merry Christmas to You and Yours.

Wow! Great series of photos. I'm hungry now! But, it's bed time. Darn.

I like the framing of palm fronds in the first shot, and the flowers look so inviting right about now.
