Art in the Park

Good morning,

This beautiful work of art is displayed in Fernbank Park, just West of Cincinnati.
It was an unexpected find when we were out walking in the park.
I found it interesting that this was painted the year my father was born, 108 years ago.

The art has certainly come to the people with a sign telling us where we can find more of it - at the Taft Museum of Art.

;)

What an interesting way to get people known to art!

I love art of the American West, although I'm not familiar with this artist. It's a beautiful painting with a wonderful title.

That is such an eloquent piece of art, and speaks volumes.

It breaks my heart when I see what we did to the American Indian...they were the first ones here...we stole their ground!!!

Not at all the kind of artwork you would expect to see in a park!
