Deck 12 Fun in the Sun - Freedom of the Seas

Good morning,

I'm back up on Deck 12 of Freedom of the Seas again today.  The domed object in the above image is the view from the top of one of the hot tubs that literally hangs on the side of the ship on Deck 11.
It was a beautiful day in St. Maarten, Dutch West Indies.  In addition to the Viking Crown Lounge you see on the aft part of the ship, you can see the giant screen TV on the pool deck.
Many experienced cruisers take advantage of the pool while the ship is in port and many other guests are ashore.  There are multiple pools and hot tubs so there is room for everyone.
On to the aft part of the ship...
...just below the Viking Crown Lounge is the H2O Zone for kids.  The water in the pool with the glass sides rotates so people can float with the water or swim against it.  It's a floating merry go round.  :)  Closest in the image is the baby splash zone where tiny babies can splash in only a couple of inches of water.
This is a more comprehensive view of the H2O Zone children's water park.

 Fun in the sun!

Enjoy,
Lois
