A Walk Around Freedom of the Seas

Good morning,

To walk off some of the good food and desserts I try to take a walk around the ship every morning and afternoon in addition to any other activities on board.  I always carry my baby camera (Canon Powershot) with me so am ready when photo ops present themselves.  ;)
Above is the diving room being prepared for the evening meal.  There are three levels of the formal dining room;  this is the top level decorated in blue, white, and gold.  Gorgeous room and the food is terrific, too.
This bridge is on the Royal Promenade in the aft part of the ship.
Looking across the bridge you see Guest Relations (formerly the Purser's Desk on older ships) on the other side.  Above are inside staterooms with windows that overlook the Royal Promenade.  The feel is of being in a town overlooking the main street.  Wonderful design.  :)
This is the entrance to Casino Royale.  I took this picture on a port day so the Casino was closed.  When the ship is at sea, this place is hoppin'.  ;)
Finally, here is Boleros Bar.  It is located one deck below the Royal Promenade so it somewhat more quiet than the main thoroughfare of the ship.  There is a large seating area and is quite comfortable if you want to sit and chat with friends.

So, as I wander around I will continue to take pictures and share them with you here from time to time.  Freedom of the Seas is a gorgeous ship and there is always something new happening here to photograph.

I hope you enjoy the images,

Lois

The decor of the dining room, with it's white columns and blue carpet, must remind you of home, Lois! Lovely areas!
