Space Ship Landed?

Good morning,

Is that a space ship on the side of Deck 12 of Freedom of the Seas?
Let's look from the outside.  That round "thing" is hanging off of the starboard (right) side of the ship, 12 decks above the sea.
We'll just get a little closer...
...and we can see it is a hot tub.  What a view!

I think I'd like to have a couple of bloody marys before I hop into this tub for a soak!

*chuckles*  I still haven't counted all the hot tubs on this ship.  I'm sure this one is out here for the view, not because the naval architects couldn't find a different spot on board.  ;)

I hope to see you tomorrow for more images captured while I roam around the ship.

Very best,
Lois

The hot tub reminds me of the Grand Canyon Skywalk on the Hualapai Indian Reservation, both of which...I would not use. :)

A fine place for the hot tub, right over the ocean! I thought it was going to be a little green house filled with flowers...lol...debbie

Wow - I'm sure that provides a good soak and a great view! I hear that a see-through platform has been built out over the edge somewhere at the Grand Canyon. Not for me. I'm terrified of heights.

Oh wow, what a lovely spot for a hot tub. I too would have to have a "few" before I hopped into it.

That is so very awesome! How fun would it be in that hot tub?!
I love it! Love Di ♥

Even to get the view it seems a strange place to put a hot tub. As for me, I'm not much for hanging off the side of a cliff, which is basically what this is.

Good morning,

Yes, I'll skip this, too, but it looks like lots of fun for those who use it. It's funny that when I do see someone in it, they are on the side of the hot tub that does not hang over the side of the ship. ;)

Ah, yes, the Grand Canyon Skywalk is something similiar. I think I'll avoid that, too. I walked across the swinging bridge at Rock City as a kid, but avoided it the last time I was there with My Honey. ;)

Thanks, everyone, for stopping by.

Very best,
Lois
