Freedom's Pool Deck

Good morning,

Each day I go on a couple of walks around the ship and take lots of images.  Today I have images of the Pool Deck of the Freedom of the Seas.
I should call it the Pools Deck because there is a whole collection of them here to suit everyone's idea of fun in the sun.
And, of course, there are bars available.  ;)
I haven't counted all of the hot tubs yet, but they seem to be everywhere.
This is the H2O Zone that kids of all ages seem to enjoy.
I came back another day and got many more images here that show more of the water fun.  Most of these figures have water spouting, shooting, or dumping out of them.  Great fun!
So, tomorrow I'll take another walk with camera in hand.  I hope you're having fun learning all about this new ship.

Very best,

Lois

So many pool areas!! amazing! The only thing I see I don't like are that the lounge chairs are so close to each other...eeek. I'd need a little space myself. It is a beautiful ship...maybe some day...debbie

Somehow having all that water on the ship instead of the ship on all that water befudles me. Of course the last big ship i was on had airplanes landing on the top deck so what do i know ;-)
Try to have some fun while you're out there.

Good morning,

Yes, Grenville, there is a lot of water on the top as well as under this gorgeous ship. It's amazing. I got a kick out of one of the captains who was once asked how the ship stays upright and he replied, "magic." Okaaaay. :) Seriously, it's extremely stable and very little movement can be felt.

Debbie, regarding the chairs being close together: I took these images early in the moring when there were very few people on the pool deck. The chairs are lined up at the side to keep them from blowing around in the wind overnight. There is plenty of space to spread out as you'll see on a post coming soon about our entrance to St. Thomas. There are also several decks where you can catch those rays. ;)

Yep, tough job all right. It is such a pretty ship, though, that I think I can handle it. ;) The only thing I really miss is a decent Internet connection. I ran out of time yesterday with my Verizon connection to a land based tower before I could all I needed to do: paying bills, reading your blogs (I read most of them!), returning emails.... Sherry, I timed out before I could leave a comment about your flowers.

Thank you, everyone, for stopping by!

Very best,
Lois
