Gravlax Breakfast

Good morning,

It's fun to be home again and preparing our own food.

My Honey made gravlax and eggs that we enjoyed on my freshly baked bread.

Ah, what a lovely way to start the day.

Lois, do you cook the salmon?

No, River, the salmon is cured with salt, sugar, and alcohol. In this case we used cognac. We have also used aquavit, a Norwegian "shooter."
