New Years Foods

Good morning,

We enjoyed New Years foods with friends.  Above you see sauerkraut, a traditional New Years food for many country traditions.
Of course, bread and wine are also important.
This is a vegetable salad made by a friend.
And, the BEST home made bread, warm from the oven.
Oven baked sliced potatoes and suckling pig completed the menu.

Yum!  What a great start to 2016!

What are your traditional foods for New Years?

Enjoy,
Lois

We don't have any traditional New Years Foods, but we do have the custom of taking a suitcase with you the first time we leave the house after the new year starts, this helps promote a year with a lot of travel!

I like that idea, Mark! I had never heard of that one.
