Needlework Update - October, 2015

Good morning,

It's time for the October Needlework Update.  First, I have made more afghan blankets to restock the shop and just because I get so much pleasure out of making them.  Above is an afghan for lovers of blues and greens...
...and this one is for Pink Lovers.
Here is a Rustic Traditional color arrangement  with a burgundy border.  Beautiful!  All of these are bed or couch size.
I also finished a lap blanket in burgundy and cream.
Also for the home are wine bottle covers that make perfect hostess gifts.
This is gift wrap that won't be thrown away.
Many of these are in the shop as I type.  :)
I've made quite a few of these "Forget Me Not" baskets.
They can be used as baskets on the table or they can be hung on the door knob for your keys, glasses, and cell phone so they will be handy when you need them.
There is a loop at the top (our of sight on the left side in the image above - see similar loop on item below) that can be used to hang the basket where you want it, or lays flat and "disappears" when you use the basket on a table.
Here's another new item in the shop.  This is a plastic grocery bag holder and dispenser.  You can hang it on a door knob or hook, add grocery bags to the top, and remove one as needed from the bottom.
What a pretty way to keep bags handy to reuse and out of the way at the same time.
Brand new in the shop are these darling pin cushions.  They are great gifts for anyone who sews or crafts.
What a cute gift for a child to take to teacher...
...or a stocking stuffer for your favorite quilter.
There are pin cushions in several themes in many colors.

These make perfect place card holders for your quilting or sewing guild event.

 So cute!
And, finally, this is a classic special order hand knit hat that has been delivered.

There are many, many new things in the shop and we invite you to come over and take a look as you are doing your holiday shopping. You might find just the right thing there that you won't find anywhere else.  :)

Thank you so much for your kind words of support.

We now return to our regularly scheduled blogging until next month's Needlework Update.

All the very best,
Lois

The afghans are beautiful, especially the rustic pattern, Lois. You have been very busy doing those long weeks of cruising and I wondered if you bring along an empty suitace for all the finished creations.
