Needlework and Woodworking Update - July, 2015

Good morning,

It has been a busy month of travel, but we have still accomplished needlework and wood working projects.

Above is a new Warm Browns Afghan Blanket. The colors are just spectacular together.
This gorgeous green cables and lace sweater was a custom order and has been delivered.
And, a cloche hat to match.  :)
This was also the month for the making of Thumb Powered Pepper or Coarse Salt Grinders.

Of course, we use these, too.  :)  They are so pretty and work so well.
Finally, for this month, My Honey made miniature hanging bird house ornaments to replenish the shop.

These look beautiful hanging by themselves, on your house plants, or on your Christmas tree.  We also have flat-bottom shelf-style bird houses that look darling in miniature displays or can be used as place card holders.

We are having so much fun doing what we love to do with wood and textiles.  We hope you enjoy seeing our monthly updates of our projects as much as we enjoy seeing what you are making, growing, baking, photographing....

We now return to our regularly scheduled blogging.  ;)

All the best,
Lois

Your knit and crochet creations remind me so much of my mom. And the wooden items of my grandfather. Nice memories, thank you.
The wooden bird ornaments are to die for.

A lot of beautiful work shown here...but that afghan is the most appealing to me.
